AB_trim_strands

About:

This Bifrost compound allows you to trim a strand from either end and offset that trim. The compound also allows for wrapping for easy motion effects. There are also inputs for random offsets per strand. The compound will use point_length or point_u if it exists or it will construct its own to use.

Future Updates:

At the moment only point_size and color are interpreted to the resulting strands. The strand shape type is also applied if it had been set. In future versions of Bifrost I'm hoping attribute transfer will be much easier and hopefully all attributes can be transferred or not transferred later on.

I will also look into using auto interpretive ports for each input to make sampling fields and other inputs easier.

Installation:

Unzip and place the versioned folder into your User/<Username>/Bifrost/Compounds folder.

Requirements:

The compound was created using Bifrost version 2.3.1.0. It hasn't been tested on earlier versions. It has no dependencies to other compounds.
